Setting up your new ZenHome Security Camera only takes a few minutes. Once paired with the ZenHome mobile app, you’ll be able to monitor your space, receive real-time alerts, and access live video from anywhere.

What You’ll Need

Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

  • A ZenHome Security Camera, fully charged or plugged in
  • A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (ZenHome devices do not support 5GHz)
  • The ZenHome mobile app installed on your iOS or Android device
  • Your ZenHome account credentials

How to Pair Your Camera

  1. Power on your camera
Plug in the camera and wait until the LED indicator begins blinking blue. This means it’s ready to pair.
  2. Launch the ZenHome app
Open the app on your mobile device and log in, if you haven’t already.
  3. Start the pairing process
Tap the "+" icon in the top-right corner of the home screen, then select “Security Camera” from the list of available devices.
  4. Connect to Wi-Fi
The app will prompt you to enter your Wi-Fi name and password. Make sure you're connected to the same 2.4GHz network you want the camera to use.
  5. Scan the QR code
A QR code will appear on your phone screen. Hold it up in front of the camera lens, about 6 inches away. The camera will scan the code automatically.
  6. Wait for confirmation
You’ll hear a voice prompt: “Pairing successful.” Once confirmed, give your camera a name (like "Front Door" or "Living Room") and tap Finish.

Troubleshooting Tips

If the pairing process doesn’t work the first time, try these quick fixes:

  • Make sure the camera is in pairing mode (LED blinking blue).
  • Ensure the camera is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network—ZenHome devices do not support 5GHz.
  • Clean the camera lens if the QR scan isn’t working and ensure your phone screen is bright and clear.
  • Restart or reset the camera by holding the reset button for 10 seconds.
